I am native Japanese and experienced Japanese tutor (in both Japan and Australia six years), currently offering lessons to over 30 students every week in Illawarra. Some students started lessons as a beginner, others have been learning Japanese in school or have lived in Japan. I create my own curriculum and tutoring documents for every class which suits student’s need and level, but also I give lessons in order to supplement what they learn from school, and assist them to pass exams by using their textbooks (Obento, Genki I&II, New Approach Cyuukyuu Nihongo, Intermediate Kanji, Japanese for busy people etc) as well as some materials from school and uni. I am very confident to offer you fun and effective lessons and able to productively teach not only Japanese language but also its culture from beginner level to advanced one. My PassionI love Japanese language and culture(anime, manga, J-pop, Japanese food and traveling around Japan), and enjoy every single lesson very much. I am dedicated to be creative in order to offer productive lessons which suits each person's need and desire. I use apps, websites, textbooks, my computer, some materials from high school and Uni, and my own paper documents in class.My QuolificationI have my Australian Police Check and Working with Children Check in NSW. Also I am able to send my references from my clients as well as resume. As a tutor, I follow and keep myself updating with Australian Tutoring Association Code of Conducts. I am a Master of International Studies (UoW 2013), and my research focused on Japan. Lesson detail (fee, scedule and place)We can meet at a place which is convenient for both you and me, such as at library or UOW. Otherwise, I come over your place for lesson (If it’s far, such as in Shellharbour or Kiama, I take additional $10 per lesson as a traveling cost). The one-on-one lesson costs $30 per hour. I accept fee via bank transaction, as I often don’t have change when students pay me in cash, and also it’s easier for me to manage fees as I have about 30 students every week. It would be appreciated if you could pay fees before each lesson, but please let me know if you prefer cash, and we’ll sign contract if you are happy about the first lesson and wish to continue.
