On the 5th of August 1995 along with some close family friends Mike and Tanette Crowley opened the doors to LittleBit Country. With a young family Mike took a gamble on something he truly believed in and years 21 later that gamble has payed off.A life long love of all things country helped Mike see an opportunity to open a small country clothing, hats, boots and saddlery shop in his home town of Mackay. After a lifetime of different careers in the Agriculture sector Mike has done everything from Stock and station agent, contract mustering, horse breaking, working on cane farms and the list goes on. His real passion was Camp drafting and I t was this passion that lead him into designing and making 5 of his own saddles and turning his hobby into a lively hood.Tanette finally joined him and left her job after working in banks for 20 years. Her eye for detail and passion for clothing, bags and shoes has helped them thrive and evolve. One of her main beliefs is that style is such a personal thing and not everyones style is the same. So she prides herself in sourcing high quality well priced items that she knows her clientele will love. With Tanettes’ eye for style Mikes years of being mentored by the Master Saddler John Davis this dynamic duo have turned everything they love in life into a one stop shop for everything the modern country man and woman needs.
