Welcome to St John’s Anglican Kindergarten Toorak
One of Melbourne’s best and most loved community kindergarten in Toorak educating generations of families in Stonnington and lifelong friendships have been formed between many families with their connections with St John’s kindergarten.St John’s offer both 3 and 4 year old preschool programs and aim to create an environment that is homely, nurturing and educational as well as fun and safe. The children have access to a range of indoor and outdoor activities to enhance their learning and discovery.The Kinder itself is located at 86 Clendon Road, Toorak, situated in the quiet grounds of the historic St John’s Anglican Church. The kindergarten leases its building and grounds from St John’s Anglican Church. The Church has no role in the management of the kindergarten but is a supportive and friendly landlord.

The committee of management administers the kindergarten and is made up of elected parents who meet each month. Our staff and committee work together to ensure there is continuous improvement of our services and facilities.
To cover its operating costs, the kindergarten relies on term fees, fundraising and government funding where available.
