He was involved in developing and testing of gold/ceramic bonding systems utilizing the best available dental materials from around the world. The results of which are published in a prestigious English Dental Technology textbook. Moving on from the research laboratory he opened and operated a Crown and bridge laboratory in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs. During this time he was involved in the development, manufacture and placement of some the first subperiosteal implants in Australia. Ten years later he and his family moved to the Far North Coast of New South Wales to commence a partnership in a commercial dental laboratory and denture clinic with two other dental technicians/prosthetists. After spending another ten years at this laboratory he felt that Northern Rivers and Lismore community needed a quality denture clinic and Active Denture Clinic was founded.
