I'm always asked 'why did you become a wedding celebrant?' It's actually pretty simple. I love being surrounded by love! When I became engaged myself I began the search for a celebrant. To me, the ceremony was really important. Yes, I wanted to celebrate into the night surrounded by our closest family and friends, but at the same time I wanted it to be recognised that we were doing something really special.I wanted to enjoy our wedding ceremony, and wanted it to be personal and something my husband would love too. As we searched for our celebrant, it made me wonder if I could provide for couples what I wanted myself - someone who could deliver a ceremony that was relaxed, natural, representative of both our personalities, full of laughter and love. So I enrolled myself into a course, studied hard and here I am, a Cairns Wedding Celebrant!Outside of weddings, I like to think I'm a pretty normal, down to earth person. I am a Primary School teacher, I love being with my family and friends and I'm also a self-confessed green tea addict; who also enjoys a sip of wine or champagne from time to time. I am an adventurer and always long to be in the great outdoors, I would choose a picnic in the park with my husband and friends over a fancy restaurant any day! I have a passion for travel, to see and learn new things.
